Narnia Book Club

Enter through the Wardrobe into the fantastical world of Narnia this summer! Ages 10 and up are invited to a book discussion club featuring three books in the Chronicles of Narnia series: “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,” “Prince Caspian”, and “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.” These three books were chosen because they chronicle the lives of the Pevensie children and are the first three books that C.S. Lewis wrote in this series. This Book Club Discussion is for Tweens and Teens ages 10 and up, is limited to 12 participants, and will be held in the Youth Services Area.
*Please plan on attending all four meetings.
Dates for Book Discussions are Thursdays at 1:30 pm on June 8th, June 29th, July 20th, and August 10th.
Thursday, June 8th at 1:30 pm – At our first group discussion we’ll learn some background information about the author as well as introduce “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.” Each participant will receive a free copy of the book to keep reading on their own at home. You will have three weeks to read it before we meet again for our discussion about the book.
